Event Details
November, 4, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Challenging behaviors are common, chronic, and sometimes disabling
in persons having disabilities. Applied Behavior Analysis is an evidence-based approach that brings improvements in
disruptive behaviors of individuals having developmental disabilities. Therapists,
teachers, caregivers and other Para-professionals have faced such behaviors in
many circumstances with too much difficulty or stress. Without a solid
grounding in training, use of exposures with these challenges was ended in a
failure struggle to remove such behaviors. You feel so much tiredness after a
struggling day in a bizarre mood for waiting the next same day & so on
passing days. Thus, understanding the application and integration of the ABA
techniques with functional assessment procedure will provide you alternative
ways to deal with such problematic behaviors.
This workshop is for all those who deal with persons
having developmental disabilities and wish to further enhance their knowledge,
skills, and clinical practices using ABA for challenging behaviors.
AUDIENCE
This workshop is planned for mental health professionals
(psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, attendants, etc.),
teachers, parents and caregivers for every one to enhance proficiency and
working capacity to deal in better way than their previous way. Some earlier experience
to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is encouraged but not absolutely necessary.
