Why founded the well-being training
institute for psychology
It is founded only to facilitate and promote training
In Pakistan, training area is
neglected too much. Not paying too much attention to train our young students
of psychology. Two conditions are necessary to complete the masters,
diploma and M.S or M.phill: clinical case report preparation and
research. Some institutes send them to hospitals under supervision of teachers
and others without supervision. Students complete these two projects only to
get their degree without proper training. Their clinical case report area did
not cover all the disorders. After passing these exams, they found their jobs
or start their clinics with no experience. Even they did not know basic
diagnostic criteria of all disorders.
In short, to grow professional
competency (Theory to implementation of any treatment),
this institute is established with the support of founder of
Rescue Volunteers Organization Mr. Wamiq Adill. This institute offers training
not only on psychology but also on overall mental health training in basic areas
(volunteers, social work, basic life saving skills courses, psychology, research,
common people training etc).
Many courses and workshops are done at free of cost with the collaboration of Rescue volunteers Organization and Well-being Psychological Society.
