Drug addiction is a chronic, relapsing and altering the brain physiology disease. Person with drug addiction and his/her family, both suffer because of this disease. There is a need to aware families and communities about bad effects of Drug addiction and to prevent this addiction from spreading. Thus, understanding the roots, signs and symptoms, and motives behind using the drugs will provide you insight about facts related with drug addiction and psyche of individual using the drugs.
This workshop is for all those who deal with persons using drugs whether they are parents/care givers, peers, teachers, any community member or a professional because it highlights the role of parents, institutions and community and provides alternatively to managing strategies and collaborative system approaches.
Audience
This workshop is planned for parents/care givers, community members and mental health professionals to enhance the proficiency and dealing skills in a better way than previous way.
Requirement of workshop
It is required from the registered members to obtain a form at the time of registration and must fill it and bring with them at the day of workshop. Must bring with them a chart, flip board and colored pencils/markers.

Benefits of workshop
It is a one day workshop, will introduce major concepts about drug addiction, community and collaborative system approach. This workshop will use a combination of didactic and experiencial activities and will be intensely practical. Participants will be encouraged to engage the material at a professional level, as it applies in the contexts of their respective area. Worksheets and other practical tools will be provided on the demand of participants. Handout will be provided to participants within workshop.

About the Presenter
Trainer: Miss Iram Sharif is an expert to deliver training in drug addiction awareness domain. She is an active therapist, trainer and executive body member of wellbeing psychological society. She is providing her services at various levels including researcher and facilitator. Her workshop delivery is consistently praised for concept clarity, natural way of communication, skill on related topic and practical utility.
